    Ben Pentreath is a renowned architect whose work embodies the highest principles of traditional and classical architecture and urbanism in contemporary society, and reflects what the jury considers to be positive cultural, environmental and artistic impacts. Ben has studied both the land and the past to make East Leaze perfectly fit within the beautiful village of Staindrop, creating timeless high quality homes.

  • How many houses are there at East Leaze?

    There are 72 exquisite homes at East Leaze, making it a wonderful community to become part of. The homes are a diverse mix from 2 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms, apartments, bungalows and houses, providing a perfect home for all requirements.

  • Will there be a show home available to view?

    Yes. We anticipate the show home will be complete by late Autumn 2026. Along with demonstrating the great build quality of our homes, the show home will also showcase beautiful furnishings from our Raby interiors store, based at Raby Castle, to provide lots of inspiration for your new home.

  • Can you offer advice about how much can I borrow to purchase my home?

    For mortgage advice, we would suggest you call the Mortgage Advice Bureau 01207 297 889. They are very helpful and can assist with all financial queries

  • How do I reserve a home?

    To reserve a home, you will need to have funds in place or have accepted an offer for your current home. Once you are in a position to proceed, you can book an appointment to reserve your home and pay a reservation fee to secure it.

  • How much is the reservation fee to reserve a home?

    The reservation fee is £1000 and is non-refundable.

  • Are there options to choose from interiors such as kitchens and tiles?

    Yes. We have a small range of beautiful options to choose from to make your home truly yours. This includes kitchen finishes such as tiles.

    Once you have reserved your new home, you will be invited to an appointment where you can choose your kitchen, tiles and any other interior upgrades such as flooring, glazed doors and appliances. If you are reserving a home which has already been completed, unfortunately the interior choices cannot be changed.

  • When will my home be ready?

    We will discuss provisional dates upon reservation, and you will be given monthly updates on the progress. This will revert to weekly updates as your new home nears completion.
